Wildlife Conservation & Management
Tuli African Research Project
In the Tuli Block of Botswana volunteers work alongside experienced rangers to establish a baseline ecology study of the wildlife in this vast and unfenced trans frontier region.
Hanchi Conservation Project
While volunteering at Hanchi, you assist in the management of a 9,000 hectare reserve from horseback, which operates a breeding programme for rare antelopes as well as a cheetah sanctuary and predator study.
Mofemedi Rhino Recovery Initiative
Mofemedi Rhino Recovery Initiative focus on the protection and continued conservation of rhino in South Africa, where poaching has reached devastating levels. The project also tracks and monitors elephant and has a predator research project.
Phinda Wildlife Research Project
As a 'Big 5' safari reserve, Phinda offers superb wildlife viewing while you conduct field research on the populations of lions, leopards and elephants, amongst other species.
Game Capture Team
Joining the Game Capture Team lets you participate in the exciting work of capturing and relocating many wildlife species, including rhinos, buffalo, giraffe and large herds of antelope - this is hands-on and adrenaline fuelled work!
Zingela Predator Conservation Project
At Zingela, you can study some of the most elusive and persecuted predators in Africa, focussing on cheetah conservation, leopard and brown hyena studies.
Marine Conservation
Coastal Conservation and Education Project
At the Coastal Conservation and Education Project you assist renowned marine scientists studying the populations of humpback and bottlenose dolphins, byrde whales, humpback whales, and southern right whales, along South Africa’s coast.

Mauritius Marine Research Project
As a marine conservation volunteer at the Mauritius Marine Research Project you assist with monitoring and controlling the impact of eco tourism on the local populations of spinner dolphins, melon headed dolphins and bottle nosed dolphins.
Wildlife Veterinary Experience
Shimongwe Wildlife Veterinary Experience
The Wildlife Veterinary Experience gives you the opportunity to work alongside experienced wildlife vets in South Africa, accompanying them on all wildlife cases and learning first hand and up close about this exciting work.

Phola African Veterinary Experience
An inspiring opportunity to combine veterinary work with an integrated approach to predator conservation. Join a wildlife veterinarian working on a number of conservation projects, a Big 5 game reserve and within the local communities, providing a much awaited free mobile veterinary service.
Wildlife Care & Rehabilitation
Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre
Volunteering at the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre in South Africa gives you hands on experience in animal care and rehabilitation of wildlife. Join an experienced and dedicated team caring for injured and poisoned wildlife.

Khulula Care for Wild
Care for injured and young wildlife at Khulula Care for Wild in South Africa, focussing on the hand rearing, infant care and nutrition of a variety of young species, with an experienced coordinator accredited by the South African Veterinary Council.
Chipangali Wildlife Orphanage and Research Project
Chipangali Wildlife Orphanage and Research Project provides a rescue and care facility for injured, sick and abandoned wildlife in Zimbabwe. The centre is also involved in extensive wildlife research and community education, ensuring sustainable conservation initiatives are supported.

Wildlife Courses
Game Ranger Guide Course
The Game Ranger Guide Course gives you a thorough introduction to the wildlife and habitats of South Africa and Botswana.
Wildlife Tracking Course
Learn advanced tracking skills and interpret animal behaviour while following wildlife through the wilderness of Botswana’s Tuli Block. This is a tough and adventurous experience.
Predator Course
Directed and tutored by wildlife veterinarians, breeders and predator specialists, the 10 day Predator Course covers the management of captive cheetah and lion populations and other smaller predators.
Community Projects
Nholwasi Community Project
