African Conservation Experience work with three wildlife rehabilitation projects - the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, the Khulula Wild Care project and the Mpumelelo Wildlife Orphanage and Research Project. These projects afford you the opportunity to get involved in the following:
- Hands-on experience in wildlife rehabilitation work
- Animal care and husbandry
- Hand-rearing wildlife
- Assisting with veterinary nursing
Wildlife Care & Rehabilitation
Khulula Care for Wild
Care for injured and young wildlife at Khulula Care for Wild in South Africa, focussing on the hand rearing, infant care and nutrition of a variety of young species, with an experienced coordinator accredited by the South African Veterinary Council.
Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre
Volunteering at the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre in South Africa gives you hands on experience in animal care and rehabilitation of wildlife. Join an experienced and dedicated team caring for injured and poisoned wildlife.

Mpumelelo Wildlife Orphange and Research Project
Mpumelelo Wildlife Orphanage and Research Project provides a rescue and care facility for injured, sick and abandoned wildlife in Zimbabwe. The centre is also involved in extensive wildlife research and community education, ensuring sustainable conservation initiatives are supported.
