Nholwasi Community Project
The Nholwasi Community Project works with rural schools in South Africa by providing much needed resources and teaching children to care for the environment.
Traditional African Dance
Volunteers at Nholwasi Community Project receive a special welcome from the school children
Work with children
The word Nholwasi means ‘to build and work together’, and this project provides the opportunity to do just that. The programme focuses on hands-on environmental education amongst the youth in the Hoedspruit and Acornhoek areas.
Working together
Working with the children from a number of local schools, you can help to enrich their environment, and in turn change their lives.
Children of South Africa
Many children in South Africa walk miles to school every day and they are eager to learn and gain knowledge to provide a brighter future for themselves and their family, to build a stronger and better educated nation.
A new friend
Volunteers play a vital role in helping the Nholwasi Community Project reach specific goals set in conjunction with the local communities
