When you are looking to book your volunteering experience in southern Africa, I will be there to listen to you about your passions and experiences in order to build you a trip of a lifetime. We will work together to create an unforgettable experience that goes beyond just an ordinary holiday.
I've been fortunate enough to travel to many parts of the world and have had some incredible experiences along the way. Some special memories include river conservation work in India and working with endangered Irrawaddy dolphins on the Mekong River in Cambodia. What I love most about my job at African Conservation Experience is being able to combine my passion for adventure with making a positive impact in the world. Every day, I get the opportunity to speak to volunteers with the same positive mindset as myself and help make their conservation dreams a reality.
Although my travels have taken me far and wide, there seems to be one place that I keep returning to: South Africa. This country has a special place in my heart due to its iconic species and awe-inspiring landscapes. During my time here, I have been lucky enough to take part in vital conservation initiatives across a whole range of different species. As part of my BSc in Ecology & Environmental Biology, I worked with The Cape Leopard Trust in an ongoing effort to educate the local community about the importance of wildlife, and by using camera trap analysis, we shed some light on this magnificent creature's diet and habitat. I can't wait to share my love for South Africa and its amazing wildlife with you!
