I can’t believe my two weeks at Moholoholo is over already! My experience at Moholoholo is going to be unforgettable. I’m going to miss falling asleep to the lions roaring and being woken up the hyenas cackling, panicking thinking they’re right outside my room! The friendships I made in such a short space of time amazes me and I will cherish those guys forever! The experiences and sights I saw will stay with me forever, it wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies, there were some really hard hitting sights, but being able to experience them really helps you to understand what really goes on with these incredible animals. I learnt so much being right in the middle of it all and experiencing it all first hand, really makes you realise how incredibly sheltered and in the dark we are with what really goes on in the world. I got to see and do things that most people wouldn’t even know happened or even start to be able to understand why it happens. Being able to work so closely to such amazing and powerful animals and seeing how our hard work actually helps them, makes me incredibly happy and I’m so blessed I got to be apart of it! I didn’t know what to expect going into this project, but I can easily say it overpassed any expectation I could have ever imagined and I feel like I’ve stepped into a whole different world! I can’t wait for the next project..
