Working at Phinda was beyond anything I could’ve expected in the best way.

Driving in a jeep around a huge reserve searching for lions, cheetahs, elephants and rhinos every day and getting up close to them was fantastic! As a volunteer, I was able to record data to help the researchers monitor the movements of the bigger animals for research purposes, while also getting the chance to experience other events going on at the reserve, such as moving giraffes and cheetahs and treating injured rhino. The researchers and other volunteers were awesome!

I had an unbelievable experience, I would go back in a flash!

My experiences at Phinda were absolutely insane. It was definitely one of the best experiences of my life. The people there topped off the experience and I have so many good memories, I'd recommend it to anyone and everyone - just thinking about my trip makes me want to go back!
