My time on the Coastal Conservation Project was absolutely wonderful. I was able to see different species in the wild and learn how to identify different sharks using underwater cameras. South Africa is a beautiful place, and I was lucky enough to experience the marvellous scenery, amazing fauna, and lovely people. I met people from around the world who made my volunteering time unforgettable. It was my first time in a boat in the open ocean, and I am sure it will not be my last. Volunteering was great, and I cannot wait to do it again one day.
