What an incredible trip - two different experiences, and I created memories of a lifetime!

I started my trip at the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabiltation Centre and man did I work hard! At Moholoholo, you really feel like you are making a difference. The team works incredibly hard to care for the many patients they see. You are always busy. Each day, you do the big chores like cleaning enclosures and preparing food.

We were included in so many things. As patients came in, we could watch their treatment. From baby squirrels to vultures - you never knew what the day would bring!

It was touching to see the staff care so much for each animal. Each life mattered.

Moholoholo staff work so hard to provide the best. The staff are always looking at new ways to provide enrichment and allow natural behaviour. The aim is always to rehab and release the patients. The amount of effort that goes into each release is incredible! Making sure the area is safe, has enough food for them, and making sure their release won't upset the natural balance in that area.

Wildlife release is not a simple thing - especially if you do it right.

At the Phinda Wildlife Research Project, it was a different side to conservation efforts. It was where you saw animals in their natural environment, but you can see why both places are important and play a role in conservation.

We had so many amazing sightings and situations happen! We saw two lionesses with cubs, and how powerful their protective instincts are. They were so aware of everything around them and watched over their cubs so carefully.

Conservation is complicated. There is so much to consider!

We are all responsible for protecting wildlife. No matter where we live. We all play a role in some way.

I loved this trip. As a travel and hotel professional, I have high standards. I know how important planning and logistics are, and ACE are true professionals. Booking is so easy, and the call with the consultant was so helpful. At each stage of the trip, I had someone waiting for me to make sure I was taken care of. That peace of mind helped me focus on my experience. This was a dream come true - and I loved every minute!
