I’m one of the friendly faces waiting for you at arrivals, ready to help you navigate the madness. Making sure you get on the right transfer, check in for your flight, swap currency, or procure forgotten toothpaste. I’m your go-to person. And once your adventure begins, I’ll be there behind the scenes, making sure everything runs smoothly.
With a degree in Psychology and Anthropology, I’ve learned that behind most animal challenges are human stories. Understanding how people think, communicate, and connect across cultures has shaped the way I approach conservation - with empathy, insight, and a touch of humour.
For over 20 years, I’ve worked in animal welfare and conservation, from running my own NGO to assisting with elephant collaring and giraffe translocations. It’s been a wild and wonderful journey!
I chose African Conservation Experience because I started my own journey as a volunteer. Those experiences changed my life. They taught me lessons no classroom ever could and gave me friendships that have lasted a lifetime. Now, being part of each volunteer’s story feels like coming full circle. It’s an incredible privilege to help others find their own adventure - and maybe, their own turning point.
